description:Kng Choon Seng is well known for his iconic Singapore scenes revealing a deep rooted passion for his country. 'Scenes of Singapore' depicts a sense of nostalgia featuring the timeless Singapore River, as well as welcoming the new-age Singapore with the impressions of the exquisite Marina Bay Sands. Kng has been an active member of the Singapore Watercolour Society since 1972. His works have been widely appreciated, having been showcased in several exhibitions: Annual Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni Association Art Exhibition and The Society of Chinese Artists Art Exhibition. Kng has won many accolades and in 1985, he was bestowed the Winner of Port of Singapore Authority (PSA) Artists Encouragement Scheme Open Art Exhibition. |
