I SEE YOU: GRAPHIC POETRY

'I See You' is a presentation of poetry in visual form, by the Arts House writer-in-residence, Jay Bernard. Local artists were given a poem written during the residency and asked to respond as they wish.

The result is surprising, funny, and strange, with responses ranging from Marvel superhero inspired surrealism to moodier oils. Jay also presents works of her own that are part collage, part poster, part ransom letter.

In addition, expect workshops on making your own visual poems and talks about the relationship between poetry and art with local artists.
