It showcased works by leading Indonesian masters and contemporary artists, allowing the British public an unparalleled glimpse into the high-end cultural creativity of Indonesia. Featuring 28 artworks by important artists from the mid-19th century onwards, the show represented several generations of artists who epitomized hallmark periods in the development of Indonesian art. Selected works from the exhibition will be showcased in One East ArtSpace, Singapore, from 19th April to 10th May 2012 to offer Singapore audience a glimpse to the development of Modern and Contemporary Indonesian Art.
