Opera Gallery offers a French Connection

Opera Gallery Singapore is thrilled to offer a vibrant collection of Contemporary French Artists, featuring such luminaries as Mouly, Boussignac, Buffet, Aizpiri, Raya and Gaveau. Appropriately entitled French Connection, which will be on display and for sale on the 28th of July through to the 14th of August. The connection between artists and gallery runs deep, beyond the commonality of nationality, each artist represented has become a member of the Opera Gallery family. A family that has now extended its branch to London's New Bond Street, after having just opened a gallery in Hong Kong earlier this year.

Panic Acid - A letter from the atelier

I write this short note seated in my studio a month before my debut solo project 'Panic Acid' in Singapore. Over the years, a lot of my works have dealt with the twin themes of survival and struggle, in many ways reflecting the extremities of the city of Mumbai where I live; a polar opposite of Singapore, the nation-city where all chaos seems contained and sanitized.
