about

concept: As an emerging new media artist, Ruyi reconstructs water and element of nature in her video works. Currently based in Singapore, Ruyi had been involved in an array of artistic events and exhibited in groupshows in Singapore. Her works with water invokes a sense of ethereality, lightness, and surrealistic imagery. An Abstraction Of Waves is a solo exhibition of video projections and surround soundscape exploring our human psyche with playful surrealistic imagery and reflective atmosphere.
